This competition is organized by Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM) and Malaysia Green Building Confederation (MGBC) calling for the design of a pioneering 'Next Generation' Green Building.

The office building is for the use of MGBC as future headquarter. Amalgamation of the built form with landscaping is the main idea of the scheme where passive integration between the two aspects of architecture help us to achieve a truly sustainable and low-energy building.

Offices, meeting rooms and ancillary spaces are housed in a U-shaped structure pushed to the far edges of the site surrounding a lush central courtyard 'forest'. The trafficable vegetated roof draped over the structures providing shade and evokes a diverse user experiences beneath due to the undulating ceiling heights.

Solar chimneys are installed over the roof of natural ventilated spaces to push hot air out and cool the interior.
